It was a night of firsts at the 2025 Primetime Emmy Awards, as a number of stars were first-time winners, including Katherine LaNasa (The Pitt), Seth Rogen (The Studio), Hannah Einbinder (Hacks), Jeff Hiller (Somebody Somewhere), Owen Cooper (Adolescence), and Tramell Tillman (Severance). Tillman not only received his first Emmy for his performance as Seth Milchick in Severance, he also made history as the first Black actor to win Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Drama Series.Â
Meanwhile, Netflix kept the crown for the Limited or Anthology category when its popular limited series Adolescence nabbed eight wins, including Outstanding Limited Anthology Series, Outstanding Supporting Actor, and Outstanding Lead Actor.
